to the Looking Great/Younger Face Program newsletter!
So many nice things happened in the past few months. We would
like to thank all of you who have responded to the last newsletter
and all of you who are informing us about the experiences with
the Looking Great Program. We're excited to hear all the stories.
We've had a lot of enjoyable lectures in Holland these days.
Now we're preparing
our next trip to the USA in July 2008. Last December 2007 we've
been to Florida for a short time.
We're travelling on the 16th of July from Southampton, England
to New York City on the wonderful cruise ship, the Queen Mary2.
From the city of New York we're visiting the people who have
subscribed to the Looking Great Program meetings at their place.
We're looking forward to meet them, their friends and everyone
who's interested in the Looking Great Program method. For information

1. Importance of doing the Derma fitness
exercises for the face and the neck!
Facial muscles
Most
people are aware of the fact that facial exercises do good work
for the facial features.
If we don't do exercise for the body the skin will look dull
and muscles will lose tone. As most people know what
exercising is doing for the body, you can expect that the face
will also benefit from facial exercises and that you will be
rewarded by good muscle tonus.There
is, however, one other aspect. The facial
bones need to be fed.
Facial bones
The
bones of the face will diminish as we mature,
the face wil be smaller due to loss bone density. That's why
we need to get proper blood circulation for the facial bones
in order to keep them healthy and strong. That's also one of
the reasons to do
the Derma fitness exercises in order to achieve healthy
facial bones, which keep our face and neck firm.
2.
Importance of proper protein intake to prevent loss of facial
bone density!
What can we do more to prevent ourselves from low bone density?
Taking sufficient vitamine D and calcium. Although both are
available in meat and dairy products, be aware that eating too
much protein-rich food like meat and dairy products can be bad
for the bones. Scientists have proven that too much animal protein
intake can be the cause of loss of calcium. It's known that
lots of women and also men of my age and even younger, who have
been taking dairy products all their lives, are suffering from
severe osteoporosis. Do not take an overdose of calcium by supplements
either as this can cause a deficiency of iron, zinc, magnesium
en phosphorus. Safe calcium intake could be via green vegetables,
eggs and seeds (especially sesame-seeds do have a lot of calcium,
but eat them grinded). One really can keep strong bones by eating
the adequate protein food without having meat or dairy by eating
a mixture of proteins from whole grains, legumes, seeds (pumpkin
and sunflower seeds), and vegetables. They provide a complement
of amino acids so that deficits in one food are made up by another.
These foods should be eaten within four hours for proper protein
intake.
During the Looking Great in 21 days Food Program no meat or
dairy products are taken in order to restore your body's digestive
health. Eggs can provide us with vitamine D. If you are a veganist,
however, you need to be aware to take sufficient vitamine D.
Also the sun is giving our body vitamine D. When the ultraviolet
light in sunlight strikes the skin, it creates vitamin D.
The food plan in the Looking Great Program Guide is giving healthy
directions for good and strong (facial) bones.
